Summers Enrichment Fund
The Summers Enrichment Fund acts in conjunction with the Gundaker grant and was established the same year by James W. Summers ’64 and his wife, Barbara Evans ’65 Summers. The grant provides students with small income-replacement stipends and helps cover transportation and other expenses in order to allow students to partake in various internships and study-away experiences over the summer.
The Summers Enrichment Fund has:
- Enabled an art history major to intern at the Montclair Art Museum
- Allowed a biology major to participate in a medical mission trip to Belize
- Facilitated a music education major’s summer study in Vienna
