From the Dean
I'm proud to be the dean of an AACSB accredited business program and working with faculty who are committed to student success, both in and outside of the classroom.
Unlike most programs, ours builds upon the foundations provided by a robust liberal arts education that teaches students critical thinking and communications skills, and incorporates global business experiences as well as a variety of opportunities for leadership and personal growth.
Our curriculum begins with a course that integrates the business disciplines and culminates in student team presentations before visiting executives who serve as judges. Students not only attain the knowledge to be successful, they begin developing real-world skills and networking techniques during their first year on campus.
With a 98% placement rate within six months of graduation, our graduates clearly earn the education that employers value. We don't prepare students for jobs, we groom them for fulfilling lives in an ever-changing, dynamic global environment.
Students in the Sigmund Weis School of Business are scholars who are engaged in their local and global communities. They are also athletes, musicians, volunteers and peer mentors.
As a result of their education in the Sigmund Weis School of Business, they become graduates who are prepared to meet the challenges—and reap the rewards—of a successful career.
