Smolko works with students and alumni to support career development through individual appointments and programming. His area of expertise is helping students from all majors search for and land internships, both regionally and nationally.
Smolko holds a Master of Education degree in student affairs in higher education with a concentration in college counseling from Kutztown University and a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in education policy studies from Penn State University. Before coming to Susquehanna University, Smolko worked at Penn State Altoona as the assistant director of career services and Indiana State University as career coordinator for the College of Arts and Sciences.
