Outside of class, students at Susquehanna have more than 100 clubs and organizations in which to get involved.  Groups and activities with particular connection to the Asian Studies Program include the following:

Asian Student Coalition

Promotes awareness, education, support and student interest in Asian and Asian-American culture in the Susquehanna community.

SU International (SUI)

Encourages students to share cultural experiences that promote understanding of different countries and their customs.

This annual tradition at Susquehanna has students, faculty and staff as well as members of the local community gather together to observe the traditional Hindu "Festival of Lights" through performances, activities and cuisine.

Visiting Students

University of Senshu

Since 1986, Susquehanna University has hosted students from this private university in Chiyoda, Japan.  Students study English and learn about American culture. They also share their culture with the university community, hosting "Japan at a Glance" presentations in which they conduct calligraphy and origami demonstrations.

University of Macau

Through a reciprocal exchange agreement established in 2007, students from the University of Macau are able to study at Susquehanna for a semester. In turn, Susquehanna students can study at the 6,200-student university located 40 miles from Hong Kong.
