Susquehanna and I dance the dance and share the tune of academic and personal discovery.

For my part, patently, I bring my degrees from Saint Vincent College and Villanova University. But more importantly, I also bring to the classroom the bounty of a life lived in the law. A life in which I have learned and gained some little insight as a judge of judges, a judge of the people, a trial advocate before decades of juries, a scrivener of statute and rule and instrument, a private advisor and counselor of law on myriad issues arising from life and business, and as an educator of judges, lawyers, and my Susquehanna students.

And what does Susquehanna bring to this dance and song? It is the crucible in which the melodies and lyrics of contemplation, consideration, and passion flow and mix in academic and personal synergy. Susquehanna is a place removed and yet not far. Susquehanna is a place of peace, respect, and tolerance, inclusive of all who come to join the dance.

It can be well said that a crossing of Susquehanna's thresholds of brick and mortar opens to a place where a curious mind can quest for answers, a body can exercise and prowess, and a spirit can discover a new universe.
