The Summer Collaborative Research Experience (SCORE) is a week-long program designed to provide incoming science majors in biology, ecology, neuroscience, and biomedical science with opportunities to participate in research as well as to get to know your professors, your classmates, the campus and the surrounding community — all before you officially begin your first semester at Susquehanna.

What will we do during the week?

  • Get to know other incoming science majors.
  • Meet your advisor.
  • Do research with your professors.
  • Tour campus facilities and meet support staff.
  • Get to know the local community.

Where will we stay?

You will be housed with other SCORE participants on campus. All costs for the program, such as your housing and meals, will be covered during the week.

How do I apply?

To apply, please send an email expressing your interest to Dr. Margaret Peeler in the Biology Department. Preference will be given to Pell grant eligible students and students who are in the first generation of their family to attend college.
