The School of Natural and Social Sciences offers several traditional science majors and minors as well as interdisciplinary programs in ecology, environmental studies, international studies, neuroscience and public policy. Our 3+2 engineering program allows you to earn a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna in chemistry, computer science, mathematics or physics along with an engineering degree from one of three partner-university programs. You also have the option to earn secondary education certification if you major in biology, mathematics, physics, political science, psychology or sociology.

At Susquehanna, you will benefit from small class sizes, working one-on-one with professors who are experts in their fields. You won’t just be taking tests and writing papers; you’ll be getting hands-on, real-world experience through faculty-student research, hands-on lab and field components, simulations, field trips and conference presentations. You will likely complete a senior capstone independent research project and/or internship experience. As a graduate, you can pursue a wide variety of pathways including employment in the for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors, or further your studies in graduate or professional school.
