Take part in a 10-day chamber music residency
Study Abroad in Japan
Experience music alongside Japanese students at Niigata University.
You'll have ample time to interact and connect with your fellow chamber musicians to learn about life in Japan. The residency culminates in a chamber ensemble recital, followed by six days of travel.
You'll spend time on the northwest coast of Japan at Niigata University, on Sado Island located in the Japan Sea, Nikko, and in Tokyo. You'll experience traditional Japanese inn accommodations and enjoy the comfort of futons, hot spring baths and the tastiness of local, seasonal foods.
