Experience authentic Italy by spending four weeks living with a host family in the beautiful northern Italian city of Ferrara. Ferrara is known as the "city of bicycles" and a jewel of the Italian Renaissance.

With beautiful wide streets and numerous palaces dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries, Ferrara qualifies as a World Heritage site. Relatively unknown to tourists, Ferrara is on the main train line and close to other major cities like Venice, Florence and Rome.

You'll complete two Central Curriculum requirements during your stay—the GO experience and the artistic expression requirement.
