Financial Aid

We are committed to working with you and your family to understand your options to afford Susquehanna.

Each family has its own personal financial concerns. We're here to help. We will work individually with you and your family to help identify the right resources to fund a Susquehanna education. Use our Net Price Calculator to approximate what you can expect to pay.

Susquehanna is a great investment for you and your parents

Choosing Susquehanna is a great investment for you and your parents. We know you're thinking hard about college costs and how to pay for it. And we understand affordability is on your mind. Higher education is expensive, but choosing the wrong school because of cost is even more expensive.

View our Tuition & Fees, and use our Net Price Calculator to get a better idea of what Susquehanna might cost your family.

Don’t believe everything you hear about the cost of a private education.

College is a long-term investment that introduces you to new ideas, new friends, the skills to chase your dreams and a network of faculty, staff and alumni working to help you.

We've debunked some popular myths and prove all the great things a Susquehanna education can lead to.

• College graduates earn almost $1 million more.

• 94% of SU grads are employed or in grad school six months after commencement.

• 98% of our students receive some form of financial aid.

And it's often no more expensive than attending some public schools.

Myths about Private Higher Education

Merit Scholarships

Academic  scholarships are how we recognize  all your hard work. These awards are made regardless of financial need and do not have to be repaid.  It's Susquehanna's investment in your future success!

Need-based Aid

Susquehanna awarded more than $49 million of institutional scholarships for 2015-16.   It's our way of ensuring that qualified students (like you!) can get the educational experience they want.  Need-based grants are awarded on the basis of information you provide on your FAFSA (and Profile for ED I candidates).  Susquehanna will also offer you any federal and state grant funds for which you qualify.

Loans & Financing

There are multiple loan programs available to help fund your Susquehanna education.   You may choose between federal and private programs, and we've even vetted some private loan companies for your convenience. And as always, if you have questions, contact our financial aid office.
