Where you went for GO:

What clubs/organizations are you involved in on campus?

WQSU, River Hawk Sports Network

Why did you choose Susquehanna University?

When I was originally looking at schools, I knew I wanted two things: a communications major with a sports focus and to play football at the next level. Susquehanna provided the perfect mix of both. Although I do not play anymore, I have made connections within the Athletics Department that have provided me the opportunity to showcase my video production skills.

What is your favorite class and why?

I really enjoyed Ethics and Leadership during my sophomore year. In the class we looked at ethical issues within the media and would try to determine as a class what would be the right way to handle it. Dr. Kaszuba created an environment in the class where all opinions were welcome and the class discussions were always interesting.

What is your favorite tradition?

Thanksgiving Dinner

Fun fact about you:

I am a baseball/softball umpire.

What does being a Student Ambassador mean to you?

Being able to relate to families, staying up-to-date on new information and ultimately helping prospective students make a life-changing decision are all aspects of the position that I enjoy regularly.

Note: Alek served as the primary video editor when producing our Student Ambassador highlight videos.
