Why did you choose Susquehanna University?

I chose Susquehanna because of how they partnered with me from the beginning. Everyone truly wants you to succeed, and they make sure to help you in any way they can. You're more than just a prospective student, they treat you like family from the moment they meet you.

Describe your experiences with research/internships:

Getting the real life experience through observations in classrooms, has been such an amazing experience. I've learned so much through other teachers as well as education as a whole. I will proudly finish out my first year at Susquehanna with 60 observation hours.

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class was Writing and Thinking. I had an amazing professor who pushed me to be my best. She also challenged me to try new things within my writing. Without her I probably would have never tried those new things.

What is your favorite tradition?

My favorite tradition is Thanksgiving Dinner. You can feel the love in the room when everyone is sitting together, not to mention the food is amazing. At Susquehanna we really are one big family, and Thanksgiving Dinner only solidifies that.

What does being a Student Ambassador mean to you?

Being a Student Ambassador to me, means a lot of things. One of my favorite parts of the job is being able to give back to Susquehanna. This school has given me new friends, leadership opportunities, as well as a love for my future and education. I try to give back in any way I can. Being able to help prospective students find their home has brought countless smiles to my face.
