Applying as an International Transfer Student

Steps to complete your application:

1. Complete the Common Application online.

2. Official High School and College Transcript(s)
Submit original or certified copies of all academic records, both secondary school transcripts, and college or university transcripts accompanied with an English translation if applicable. Collegiate credits can be transferred at any time after the semester ends, but will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis by the Susquehanna University registrar.

3. TOEFL or IELTS Test Results
If English is not your first language, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A score of 80 (Internet-based), 213 (computerized) or 550 (paper) on the TOEFL is required. Your test results must be sent to us directly by the testing service. Our code for TOEFL scores is 2820. You may also submit an IELTS test score. Our minimum requirement is a score of 6.0.

4. International F-1 Transfer Form
Students who apply for transfer admission from another U.S. institution will need to ask their international student services coordinator to fill out the International Student Transfer Form with a release date.

5. Verification of Financial Resources
Students who require a visa to study at Susquehanna University must complete a Certification of Financial Support.

6. Additional Materials (optional)
We are happy to review letters of recommendation from college professors on university letterhead, although they are not required.

Documents should be submitted to:

Office of Admissions
514 University Avenue
Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA, 17870

Once all of your credentials are received, the Admission Committee will review your application.
