Several Susquehanna University alumni and one faculty member were recently featured in Inside Pennsylvania Magazine’s 40 Under 40.
They are:
- Noah Fenstermacher ’20
- Jessica Masterton, assistant professor of publishing and media entrepreneurship, Susquehanna University
- Sarah Moyer ’18
- Matt Santa ’19
- Nathan Savidge ’15
Fenstermacher graduated from Susquehanna with a degree in public relations. He authored College Admissions of Guilt: How the Underserved Student Can Still Succeed in Higher Ed and donated part of his profits to the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project.
Masterton was noted for her work as director of Susquehanna University Press, which relaunched in 2024 after a 14-year hiatus.
Moyer graduated from Susquehanna with a degree in computer science and owns three photography businesses that focus on real estate, family and wedding photos. She has volunteered her photography skills for fundraisers at the Union County West End Fair, the Sunbury Animal Hospital and other nonprofit groups such as Autism Awareness.
Santa graduated from Susquehanna with a degree in psychology. He currently serves as the director of the Selinsgrove REC.
“As a young adult who has grown up in this area, there has always been an unfair perspective that this area has nothing to offer young adults, and a lot of people I grew up with moved to other places for that reason,” said Santa. “I would love to see a shift in that perspective for the up-and-coming generations, where they create and develop here what past generations have sought elsewhere.”
Savidge graduated from Susquehanna with a degree in political science and psychology. He is a former county election administrator who was promoted to Sunbury’s chief clerk in 2022. He also sits on the Sunbury City Council as well as some economic organizations. Savidge is a mental health counselor and therapist.
