Residence Hall Move-In
To make Move-In Day smooth and stress-free, please review the following instructions:
Checking in & unloading
Upon arrival, vehicles will enter the Move-In Line, where friendly staff and student volunteers will provide instructions. Students will receive residence hall and orientation materials upon entering the drive-up Check-In before proceeding to their hall for unloading.
A driver is to remain with each vehicle. If possible, students are encouraged to have someone else drive so they can head to their residence hall room while Susquehanna volunteers unload and deliver their belongings.
Parking
After unloading, vehicles will be directed to designated parking areas, with golf cart shuttles available for those needing assistance to return to residence halls.
Arrival Traffic Flow
Cars with items to unload
Use this address for navigation to join the designated Move-In Line: 313 University Ave., Selinsgrove, PA 17870. TIP: Enter via Market Street → University Avenue (not via Pine Street).
- TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Borough and campus construction and local school district traffic will cause delays on roads other than those designated for Susquehanna University move-in. It is highly encouraged to avoid 18th, Broad and Pine streets for these reasons.
Guest-only and cars with no items to unload
Park in either the Sassafras or TRAX lots, or the lot beside the Admission House. You can walk to your designated residence hall or hop on one of the university golf cart shuttles.
Commuter Student Check-In
Ahead of Opening Convocation and Orientation, check in at the Burke Hawk Hub in the Degenstein Campus Center at 11 a.m. and join us for lunch. Commuters can park in any of the nearby lots (Scholars House, GO House or Sassafras).
Directions to Campus & Parking Map
Additional information is on the Maps & Directions page. EV charging stations are located in the lot to the right of the Admission House.
Move-In Day Announcements
