Students showed off their artistic side at TRAX nightclub on Nov. 10, 2017.
Two artists from Little Studio Big Art in nearby Sunbury, Pa., helped the students create a Serengeti sunset background with the outline of an elephant. The event was free, and wine was available to students 21 and over.
Step-by-step instructions taught students specific brush strokes as well as shading and blending of colors to create their masterpieces.
"I really enjoyed this event!" said Em Osback '18. "I used to do art when I was younger, and it was so nice to be able relearn something I was so passionate about."
While some students followed the instructions very closely, others took more creative liberties- adding a tie dye sky, more animals or various geometric shapes.
"I go to this event every year. I love being able to relax and create something really cool. Plus, these make great decorations for my dorm!" said Sarah Minden'18.
