Spontaneous Faculty Lounge Performance is a Hit for Students

September 14, 2016

Faculty Lounge-an all-faculty band from Susquehanna and Bucknell universities-hit Smith Lawn on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, for a surprise performance.

Susquehanna facilities, public safety and student life worked together to help the band, which has been performing music similar to the Beatles since 2002, put on a brief concert during the second week of classes.

More than 200 students stopped by to enjoy music performed by Laurence Roth, professor of English, and Louie Land, English adjunct professor, on guitar and vocals; Pat Long, music professor, on drums; Pete Long, philosophy professor at Bucknell University, on bass; and David Imhoof, associate professor of history, on vocals and keyboard.

"We had a blast and we hope the audience did too," says Imhoof.
