Our campus nightclub, TRAX, was decked out in '40s and '50s style decorations, and staff broke out their best poodle skirts and leather jackets for the Juke Box Party on Nov. 4, 2017.
The party coincided with Family Weekend so many students brought their parents along to enjoy in the fun. James Foster '18 and Alyssa Bower '19 gave swing dancing lessons prior to the party for those who wanted to perfect their dancing skills.
"I had so much fun teaching others to dance! I haven't done that in so long and it was great to see everyone having a good time!" said Bower.
This new event was a hit with both parents and students alike.
"It was nice to have an event here that I can take my parents to. They had a wonderful time learning to dance and those root beer floats were a plus!" said Ian Rush '18.
