Greek Life Housing

A vibrant part of our campus, Greek organizations call 12 buildings across campus home—from shady University Avenue to a Tudor-style home on a hill overlooking campus.

Since these houses are owned by the university, you enjoy all the conveniences of campus living. Plus the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and activities of your fraternity or sorority make these houses a true home away from home.

Theme Housing

We host three permanent theme houses on campus: the Presser International House, the Sustainability House and the Creative Writing House. Students apply and interview to be part of these communities that participate in both in-house and out-of-house activities.

Student-Created Communities

Students can come together around a common theme or project and apply for housing that best fits their community. Examples of past communities include:

  • Code Game
  • Men’s Rugby
  • Future Service Workers of SU
  • Orchestra House
  • Selinsgrove Buddies
  • Digital Multimedia
  • Fun Home (LGBTQ+ housing)
  • Athlete Service House
  • The Hogwarts Collective
  • Exerevnites
  • Service in Youth Development
  • Big Thinkers Business LLC
  • American Sign Language

Living Learning Collectives

Honors and business students often live together in living learning collectives — taking classes together and participating in special programming both in and out of the res hall. Other living learning collectives around different topics will be available on the housing application!

Upper-level students can opt to live in theme housing like the sustainability or creative writing houses, or create their own community around a topic that resonates with them.
