Putting Intellectual Skills to Work in Today's World

Can you imagine yourself as the CEO of a multinational corporation? An award-winning film director?  How about a vocalist emerging onto the stage at Carnegie Hall for the first time? These exciting achievements belong to Susquehanna alumni who majored in one of the professional fields of business, communications and music.

Successful doctors, dentists, veterinarians, lawyers, ministers, teachers. They and many others who got their start through our preprofessional programs also have unique stories and rewarding careers. The possibilities for them and you to make a difference in the world are endless.

At Susquehanna, you’ll learn everything you need to know to launch your dream career. Intense training in your professional field. Plus a career-enriching liberal arts education second to none. We even have a business school that has the coveted stamp of approval of AACSB International.

Employers want college graduates who know more than their own narrow discipline. They need employees who can think critically, reason analytically and communicate well in a global society. Susquehanna teaches you all of these things and more.

Our alumni tell us time and again that their undergraduate education was phenomenal. They were better prepared in their first job after graduation than many of their colleagues who graduated from other colleges.

Why do they feel this way? Alumni overwhelmingly cite their faculty mentors who inspired and guided them, and helped them make important connections. They recall the internship experiences that helped them prove their job readiness to future employers. They marvel over their experiential learning opportunities. Some got their start in broadcasting at WSQU Radio. Others did marketing studies for local businesses as class projects. Education students got major classroom time at area schools. Musicians sang, played and composed their hearts out before enthusiastic audiences. Many more examples await your exploration.
