Dear Students:

We are so thankful for all you have done this semester to keep our campus healthy and safe. Our efforts to #savethesemester have been working because of your dedication and commitment to this community and to each other. We understand how challenging this semester has been compared to normal times and appreciate students who have shared their concerns and suggestions with us. The most common requests we have received have been for more break time and additional fun outdoor events. We now have enhanced plans for both!

We are providing you an additional wellness day this semester. All classes and labs are cancelled both Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15, so you can take two consecutive days to rest, relax, and find the energy you need to complete the last stretch of the semester. Faculty have been asked not to expect you to use the time for classwork. Although classes are cancelled, offices will be open, and all dining and support services will continue. For those of you who work on campus, please check with your supervisor for options to have time off from work commitments as well. 

The Student Activities Committee has partnered with other campus groups to present Spring Weekend April 16-18. Carnival rides, the spring concert, carnival food, and more — visit susqu.presence.io for more information.
