A message from your Senior Class President and SGA President

March 20, 2020

Greetings to the Class of 2020,

We hope this email finds you all well and remaining safe and healthy in this difficult time. In light of recent decisions made by Susquehanna, influenced by Governor Tom Wolfe and the state of Pennsylvania, we are working collectively with administration to take appropriate measures in preparation for commencement.

We first want to assure you that as the Senior Class President and SGA President we are relaying all the comments and concerns on behalf of the senior class as we plan for the tail end of the semester. Along with that the we want you to know that the SU faculty and staff are here to support us and are actively meeting to determine ways that we can facilitate our senior experiences, while it may not be traditional, they certainly want this to be memorable for all of us.

We undoubtedly share in all your current feelings and recognize the value of the senior experience that we all deserve, the most optimal solution will come from collaboration between all parties involved. With that being said, by the beginning of next week, a poll regarding commencement will be distributed via email and is to be completed through Presence. Your participation in this poll is crucial in the decision-making process and we urge you to take it very seriously, as your voice is not only needed but valued under these circumstances.

In the meantime, if you have any other questions, comments, or concerns regarding your student experience please do not hesitate to contact Devin (rossid@susqu.edu) or Donovan (gaylesd@susqu.edu) so, we can relay these concerns to the administration.

Yours truly,

Devin Rossi; Senior Class President

Donovan Gayles; SGA President
