Travel and environmental author Ken Ilgunas will give a talk called "Trespassing across America: One Man's Epic, Never-Done-Before (and sort of Illegal) Hike along the Keystone XL Pipeline."

He is the author of Trespassing across America, This Land Is Our Land and Walden on Wheels and has written for the New York Times, Time, Backpacker,and the Chronicle of Higher Education. He's been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The New Yorker, National Geographic and NPR. Ilgunas has a B.A. from SUNY Buffalo in history and English and an M.A. in liberal studies from Duke University. 

The lecture is sponsored by the University Theme Committee, the chaplain's office, and the departments of political science, English and creative writing, sociology and anthropology, and earth and environmental sciences.
