Miriam Libicki, an internationally acclaimed American-Israeli comics creator, will give a talk on Ethiopian Israelis in "Strange-ing the Welcomer: A Theory of Black and White and Jews All Over." There will be a Chanukah menorah lighting after the event.

Libicki is a groundbreaking and important voice in Jewish graphic narratives and her graphic essays address Jewish ethnic diversity, Israeli society, and the challenges of writing memoir.
