Rob Babcock is the Dorothy Weyer Creigh distinguished professor of history at Hastings (Neb.) College, where he has taught European history, Latin and Russian since 1992. He directs Hastings College's Irish Fellows Program and, in partnership with Pyatigorsk State University in Russia, the college's Pushkin Institute of Russian Language and Culture.
