Holly B. Rogers is the co-founder of Koru Mindfulness and a psychiatrist at the student counseling center at Duke University. Her book The Mindful Twenty-Something is a handbook for young adults who wish to learn about mindfulness and meditation. Chapter 12, "Resilience: Surfing the Waves with Style," appears in this year's Common Reading, and in this talk, Rogers will explain how mindfulness can help people develop the ability to bounce back from difficult experiences.
