The Sigmund Weis School of Business welcomed three new faculty members this fall: Emma Fleck, Peter Dadalt and Amir Bahman Radnejad. Their unique experiences in business, teaching and research will help us continue to shape successful, skilled business leaders.

Emma Fleck

Associate Professor of Management Emma Fleck came to us from Colorado Mesa University where she was an assistant professor of entrepreneurship and marketing. She earned her doctorate in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, where she also earned a postgraduate certificate in teaching higher education. Her research has included gendered aspects of entrepreneurship, internationalization and spirituality in the workplace. Additionally, she is co-founder and strategic development director at Zenith Online Marketing.

Assistant Professor of Finance Peter Dadalt has taught finance since 1998, most recently at the University of Rhode Island. He holds a doctorate degree from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Dadalt is enthusiastic about the role of technology in the classroom, often using video to aid students’ learning. His research covers earnings management, corporate governance and academic dishonesty, among other topics.

Assistant Professor of Management Amir Bahman Radnejad earned his doctorate in strategy and global management from the University of Calgary in Canada earlier this year. While there, he completed an energy and environment specialization. His research has concentrated on sustainable development and innovation, particularly relating to the oil and gas industries. In Calgary, Radnejad functioned as business development director of Sabz Consulting Group, which he co-founded. The firm uses academic research methods to help businesses in their problem-solving. He also served on an advisory board for the University of Calgary’s Centre for Corporate Sustainability. Radnejad earned his master’s degree at the University of Manchester in England and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Tehran.
