Green’s inaugural address, The New American Scholar, will examine the evolution and significance of liberal arts education in producing citizen leaders. Beginning with Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 1837 address, The American Scholar, Green will also address the challenges liberal arts institutions and students face today, and their mission moving forward.
The installation ceremony will be live-streamed and recorded for later viewing for those unable to attend. More information, including parking and shuttle transportation, can be found here.
