Susquehanna University will present the musical She Loves Me Nov. 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m. in Degenstein Center Theater.

She Loves Me, by Joe Masteroff, Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, is set in 1930s Europe. This heartwarming musical comedy tells the story of quarrelsome perfume shop clerks Amalia and Georg. They constantly bicker with each other, but both share a secret affection for a mysterious pen pal they found after responding to a lonely-hearts ad in the newspaper.

Charming and funny, She Loves Me promises to enrapture the audience with its witty cast of characters, iconic music score and cute plot twist. It also served as the inspiration for the 1998 film You’ve Got Mail.

For tickets, visit the University Box Office in the Degenstein Center Theater lobby or call 570-372-ARTS (2787). The box office is open Monday through Friday, between noon and 5 p.m. while university classes are in session.
