Brett Hosterman is a life-long resident of the Susquehanna Valley. At Milton, his teaching responsibilities included grades 6-12 instrumental music, marching band, jazz band, eighth-grade general music, and high school electives in music theory and appreciation. In 2011, Hosterman founded and still conducts the Milton Area Community Band, which boasts over 80 active members ages 15-92.
Throughout his professional teaching career, Hosterman was actively involved in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, having served as District 8 president, vice president, band festival coordinator, and sat on various state-wide committees.
In 2015, Hosterman left the teaching profession to explore his other interests in the arts, ultimately opening his own business “Hosterman Creative.” His business allows him to mix his other passions of photography and graphic design with his love of music and the arts.
