Huber is an innovative leader with senior-level experience in information technology and is responsible for overseeing the university's information technology operations. Huber has extensive experience in providing strategic leadership in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining technology and information systems that support the academic and administrative goals of the university. Since his arrival in 2004 he has successfully built an IT service-oriented organization that provides reliable, secure and responsive information management and technology services to students, faculty and staff. Huber actively promotes effective strategic partnerships with other university directors and administrators through participation various committees including Executive Staff, Administrative Technology Leadership, Advisory Committee on Academic Technology and the Committee on Sustainability.
Prior to Susquehanna University Huber worked in corporate technology and consulting leadership positions with comprehensive hands-on management experience with systems and operations for complex organizations. As vice president of information technology with a global technology company responsible for computing and communication infrastructure, Huber directed Oracle and PeopleSoft ERP implementation programming and project management development teams.
Huber is the primary representative member of Educause and a regular participant with the EDUCAUSE/Cornell Institute for Computer Policy and Law. He is the parent of Neil ’10 and Graham ’12.
