About Me

I joined Susquehanna’s Department of Accounting in 2017.

I graduated from University of Houston with a Ph.D. in accounting. Before that, I got a master’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University and a B.B.A. in accounting from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

At Susquehanna, I teach both introductory and intermediate level accounting courses. Teaching at a small, liberal arts university is a joyful experience. I can interact with the students more and see each student develop as a whole person.

My research focuses on corporate governance and especially how the team dynamics of top managers affect their financial reporting decisions and other important firm decisions.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking and cooking, and I love dogs.
