Business Administration Minor

As a non-business major, you can earn a minor in business administration to give you a competitive edge.

Gain knowledge of management tools and techniques, as you study noted economists and gain a solid foundation in marketing, management and statistics. You can also apply to be a Build Collaborative Fellow to build your idea or product into a business opportunity.

The following is an excerpt from the complete course catalog. Enrolled students follow the requirements of the course catalog for the academic year in which they declare each major and/or minor and consult with their advisor(s).

Minor in Business Administration

The minor in business administration requires six to eight courses totaling at least 24 semester hours. The business administration minor is not available to students in the Sigmund Weis School of Business.

To complete the minor, students must have a GPA of at least 2.00 and no grade below C- in courses chosen from the following:

4-8 ECON-105 Elements of Economics
- or both ECON-201 Macroeconomics and ECON-202 Microeconomics
4 MGMT-202 Business Statistics
- or MATH-108 Introduction to Statistics
- or MATH-180 Statistical Methods
- or PSYC-123 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
12 Choose from the following (12 SH minimum):
