Black Student Union

The Black Student Union’s purpose is to enhance awareness of minority, culture, and heritage and issues in the Susquehanna University community. A supporter of diversity and cultural values, the Black Student Union works to recreate the bond between minorities at Susquehanna and serves as a support base for those that are in need of help in any way. Student Perspective:

"Black Student Union or the BSU, as we are more commonly referred, strives to provide a sense of unity within the black community as well as the university as a whole. We plan and organize events that cater to the social needs of the students, as well as educate members of the Susquehanna community of the proud history and traditions of the members of the African diaspora. The BSU is a place where any student can come, no matter how they identify, and feel a sense of community and belonging. Even when we're taking care of business we're still having fun laughing and joking with one another!"
