A variety of programs are offered throughout the academic year. Key programs coincide with national campaigns. In addition, programs are conducted upon request for staff, faculty and students.
Examples of these programs include:
- Presentations on risk reduction as it pertains to use of alcohol and other drugs during first-year orientation
- Discussions in freshman seminar classes about stress management, positive psychology, alcohol and diversity issues
- Ongoing passive programming through various media outlets, such as e-newsletter, campus TV and radio, posters and other printed materials
Our peer educators are involved in developing and implementing many of our educational and outreach programs. If you are interested in becoming a peer educator, call Cheryl Stumpf at 570-372-4732.
