Enactus Team Nabs National Spot after Regional Win

Susquehanna’s Enactus team once again advanced to the national Enactus competition in St. Louis, Mo., in May. Enactus, an international organization, promotes entrepreneurial action that improves the lives of others. Susquehanna earned its spot in St. Louis by winning in the regional competition in Washington, D.C., in March. This was the team’s 12th regional win.

Throughout the year, Enactus completed a number of projects bringing together their business acumen and their desire to serve the campus, local and global communities. Efforts included putting together Spanish-language coloring books to distribute to children in Peru, assisting disabled students at Selinsgrove Area High School grow their Seals’ Café business, holding women’s empowerment panels at a local shelter, and leading a green-efforts initiative on campus. At the competitions, the team shared their work.

The team is advised by George Cravitz, Sam Walton fellow in the Sigmund Weis School of Business.
