Susquehanna University’s graphic design students made a successful showing in the recent Real Show, a competition administered by George Mason University’s School of Art.
“Participating in competitions like the Real Show offers our students the invaluable opportunity to apply their creative skills to real-world challenges while gaining recognition beyond the classroom,” said Amanda Lenig, associate professor of graphic design and department head of art & design in Susquehanna University’s School of the Arts. “We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments.”
Among the top award winners were Samantha Cubberley ’26, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, who won a gold and silver award for her ad campaign and poster series, respectively; Kyra Keenan ’26, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, who won silver for her poster series; and Zachary Piecyk ’26, of Armonk, New York, who won silver for his ad campaign.
Honorable mentions were awarded to August Clements ’25, Allison Himler ’26, Robert Lelli ’25, Molly McGuire ’26, Emily Nagy ’25, Dylan Raymond ’25, Theresa Skindzier ’26, Abigail Willmot ’25 and Tatianna Winston ’26.
