Numerous sources have provided Susquehanna University with a video that is reported to contain the off-camera voice of an admitted student uttering a reprehensible statement, including a racial slur and threatening language.
We appreciate the concerns expressed by students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, as well as the support you share for the values of the Susquehanna community in condemning such conduct.
The Divisions of Student Life and Enrollment, in collaboration with several offices, immediately began an investigation into the allegations. The University will take action with respect to the individual involved, as appropriate based on the findings of the investigation. We will not perpetuate the hateful message depicted on the recording by publishing its content.
