SU Celebrates Our Student Employees

During the second full week of April, universities and colleges across the country, including Susquehanna, recognize the significant contributions of students who work on campus during National Student Employment Week.

The recognition week is sponsored by the National Student Employment Association (NSEA).

At Susquehanna, over 1,000 students across more than 50 departments and programs are employed by the university, playing a key role in our educational and operational excellence.

“Student employees perform indispensable services with enthusiasm, dedication and initiative,” said Jennifer Bucher, vice president for human resources at Susquehanna. “At the same time, they develop essential skills and gain real-world work experience.”

Between April 13 and April 17, students’ supervisors and colleagues across campus will show their appreciation to their individual student employees virtually through gestures like e-cards, care packages, small gifts and more.
