Reach Scholars Program

for Pennsylvania residents

Susquehanna University’s REACH Scholars Program (Act 101) is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.

All eligible students should apply to take advantage of the many program benefits. To be eligible for the REACH Scholars Program, a student must meet all the following requirements:

  • Reside in Pennsylvania,
  • Satisfy the state income eligibility requirements
  • Exhibit educational aspirations.

Benefits of Becoming a REACH Scholar

Here’s what the REACH Scholars Program offers:

  • Workshops and collaborative sessions with faculty, staff, and fellow scholars to help you discover and maximize your potential. 
  • Bonding sessions like movie nights, painting and game nights
  • Support in navigating your academic journey, including financial literacy workshops and guidance on graduate school and career opportunities. 
  • Ongoing professional development sessions and academic support to ensure your success. 
  • Exclusive programming, including overnight and day trips, conferences, and field trips, all at no cost to you. 

But that’s not all. As a REACH Scholar, you’ll also have access to: 

  • $100 Emergency Aid: Immediate financial assistance for unforeseen emergencies, excluding tuition and books. 
  • Lending Library: Save the cost of getting textbooks and borrow the books you need for the semester by filling out a simple form based on your course load.
