Welcome, High School Creative Writers

November 14 |  9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

For nearly 30 years, Susquehanna University’s Writers Institute has invited high school writers, educators and family members to campus for Creative Writing Day — a day consisting of readings, workshops and talks about our creative writing program. This event offers intensive workshops that give high school students the experience of being part of a community of dedicated writers.

Register as an individual or teacher. Individuals must be in attendance with a parent/guardian. Teachers may bring a class of 8 students maximum. Both registrant options will participate in our full day of programming from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14.

Students attending this year’s Creative Writing Day will participate in intimate, college-style workshops, receiving personalized feedback on their writing.
