Business Administration Minor
As a non-business major, you can earn a minor in business administration to give you a competitive edge.
Gain knowledge of management tools and techniques, as you study noted economists and gain a solid foundation in marketing, management and statistics. You can also apply to be a Build Collaborative Fellow to build your idea or product into a business opportunity.

When you enroll at Susquehanna, you’ll be paired with an advisor and application tool to guide you in your course planning and scheduling. The following is an excerpt from the complete course catalog. Enrolled students follow the requirements of the course catalog for the academic year in which they declare each major and/or minor and consult with their advisor(s).
Minor in Business Administration
The minor in business administration requires six to eight courses totaling at least 24 semester hours. The business administration minor is not available to students in the Sigmund Weis School of Business.
To complete the minor, students must have a GPA of at least 2.00 and no grade below C- in courses chosen from the following:
- 4-8 ECON-105 Elements of Economics
- or both ECON-201 Macroeconomics and ECON-202 Microeconomics
- 4 ACCT-200 Financial Accounting
- 4 MGMT-202 Business Statistics
- or MATH-108 Introduction to Statistics
- or MATH-180 Statistical Methods
- or PSYC-123 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
- 12 Choose from the following (12 SH minimum):
- 4 MKTG-280 Marketing
- 4 MGMT-240 Principles of Management
- 4 FINC-340 Corporate Financial Management
- 4 MGMT-360 Management and Organizational Behavior
- Insurance underwriter
- Nonprofit administrator
- Health services manager
