Susquehanna University is committed to fostering student involvement in democracy.
Students living on campus may choose to register to vote from their campus mailing address or from their other permanent residence. Susquehanna University is located in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
The Snyder County Elections website lists local polling places and local election office contact information. Voter registration can be submitted online, by mail, or at a number of government agencies, including PA Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Photo License and Driver’s License Centers.
Students who need transportation to the polling sites in Selinsgrove Borough on Election Day may email with the time you plan to vote and your designated polling location.
Local polling locations include All Saints Episcopal Church, 129 N. Market St. and Sharon Lutheran Church, 120 S. Market St.

General Election Important Dates

Oct. 21: Registration Deadline
Oct. 21 is the last day to register to vote in the November election in Pennsylvania. Susquehanna students living on campus can register to vote in PA.
Mailed and hand-delivered voter registration applications must be received by 5 p.m. (postmarks do not apply). Online voter registration applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m.

Oct. 29: Mail-in Ballot Application Deadline
Oct. 29 is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot or civilian absentee ballot in Pennsylvania and must be received by 5 p.m.

Nov. 5: General Election
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The county election office must receive completed mail-in and civilian absentee ballots by 8 p.m.

Mail-In Voting
If an election date conflicts with a student’s class schedule or a student is unable to get to a polling precinct, students can register for a mail-in ballot TODAY.
Students living on campus may choose to register to vote from their campus mailing address or from their other permanent residence.
If using a campus mailing address, including your personal Hawk Number, to receive your mail-in ballot in campus mail.
