Susquehanna students and faculty have the opportunity to showcase their gifts in classical, jazz and contemporary music. Through a rich array of concerts and performances, the department provides a platform for students to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

Creative Expression at Susquehanna

Artist Series

The Artist Series seeks to encourage an aesthetic appreciation of diverse cultures as well as the artistic heritage of humankind. Performances are often linked in ways that advance intellectual engagement.

Lectures & Speakers Series

Susquehanna’s diverse selection of lectureships and speaker series brings together influential voices to share their expertise and perspectives with the campus community.

Music Lessons

Susquehanna University offers group lessons for infants through adults, as well one-on-one lessons in voice, piano, organ, harp, and all band and orchestra instruments, for people of all ages.

Music Festivals & Workshops

The Department of Music regularly hosts programs for high school musicians and members of the community.
