Explore the Outdoors

a Valley of Four Seasons

Participate in a plethora of outdoor activities in the Susquehanna River Valley. Susquehanna students can enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, golfing, bird and wildlife watching, outdoor photography, and much more. Popular destinations include the waterfront along the Isle of Que and Dale’s Ridge Trail, both offering scenic routes for biking and hiking.

Five people are kayaking on a calm lake surrounded by lush green trees. They are paddling in colorful kayaks, including yellow, red, and green, under a clear sky. The serene water reflects the trees and kayakers.

Recreation Spaces

From the banks of the Susquehanna River to the grassy lawns on our campus, there’s a place for everyone to enjoy the world around them.

A young man crouches by a portable fire pit on a grassy area, holding a marshmallow on a stick over the flames. Other people, partially visible, are also roasting marshmallows. Everyone is casually dressed, enjoying an outdoor gathering.
