We Listen. We Care.
Susquehanna University is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, free from sexual misconduct and gender-based violence.
Susquehanna is committed to fair Title IX compliance processes conducted with respect, care and just responses, providing mandatory training and education for employees and comprehensive support services. Athletics is one of the key areas addressed under Title IX, but the law applies to every aspect of education.

Reporting
Following recommendations from victim service professionals, Susquehanna University does not report complaints to law enforcement, and we are not legally required to do so. The decision to involve law enforcement is the individuals’ affected, because reporting incidents could cause further harm.
Students may complete an online Title IX report form or report the incident to any university employee. All employees are required to report incidents of discrimination and harassment to the institution and receive annual training on reporting procedures.
Online reports are sent to the Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator, who follow up with the individual named in the report to discuss available options and support measures. The reporting individual decides how to proceed.
Consent & Healthy Relationships
Understand the foundations of healthy relationships, learn to establish and respect boundaries, and gain clarity on the essential principles of consent.

Student Advisory Board
The Title IX Student Advisory Board educates and empowers students with comprehensive knowledge of the Title IX process, policies and reporting procedures, enabling them to serve as peer educators. The board also facilitates communication between the student body and Title IX Office, gathering feedback and assisting with awareness campaigns. To apply to join the Title IX Student Advisory Board, contact the Title IX Office.
