A recent graduate and current student from Susquehanna University were named to Graphic Design USA’s Students to Watch list.
Dylan Raymond ’25, of Glenmoore, Pennsylvania, and Molly McGuire ’26, of Towson, Maryland, were recognized among more than 100 graphic design students from colleges and universities across the country.
Raymond graduated from Susquehanna in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. Before his arrival at Susquehanna, Raymond earned an associate degree in photography from Delaware County Community College and in 2024, he interned at Cross Creative Co.
“My entire life, I’ve always gravitated toward the arts,” Raymond said. “Whether it be design, photography or sketching, the drive to work through the process from idea to creation gives me immense satisfaction.”
McGuire is also pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design.
“I have always gravitated toward creative endeavors whether it is photography, painting or crafts. Art classes in high school exposed me to more mediums and led me to want to work in a creative field,” McGuire said.
Raymond and McGuire were nominated for the honor by Amanda Lenig, associate professor of graphic design and department head of art & design in Susquehanna’s School of the Arts, and James Henderson, assistant professor of art & design.
“Dylan and Molly truly represent the excellence we strive for in Susquehanna’s graphic design program, and their creative vision, thoughtful approach and strong work ethic exemplify the ideals we hold dear,” Henderson said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see their talent and commitment acknowledged by Graphic Design USA.”
Graphic Design USA is an industry publication for graphic designers and the broader creative community. Susquehanna’s graphic design program is recognized as a Top Design School by the same publication.
