Susquehanna University’s Department of Theatre announces its fall production, Doubt, A Parable, by John Patrick Shanley.

Performances will be in the Degenstein Center Theatre on the campus of Susquehanna at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20-22 and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The 2005 Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning play is set in a 1964 New York City Catholic school and tells the story of Principal Sister Aloysius who takes matters into her own hands when she suspects a young priest of improper relations with a male student.

Doubt is directed by Anna Andes, associate professor of theatre, as part of the university’s Advanced Acting Workshop.

Tickets can be purchased through the Box Office in the Degenstein Center Theater lobby. The box office is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday when classes are in session. Tickets can be purchased in person or by calling 570-372-ARTS. Senior and student rates are available.
