Board of Trustees
Susquehanna University’s highest governing body, the Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership to ensure Susquehanna remains a future-ready institution anchored in academic excellence and committed to student success.
Composed of industry leaders, accomplished alumni, faculty and student representatives, engaged parents, and committed friends, the board sets the university’s vision and goals, oversees financial stewardship, and advances Susquehanna’s reputation and impact.

University President
Jonathan D. Green, Susquehanna’s 15th president, has led the university since 2017. As President, he inspires the university’s vision and steers its path forward.
President Green is a transformative leader who has guided Susquehanna University through significant strategic growth, with a focus on student success and institutional innovation. His leadership has strengthened academic and support resources, revitalized the university’s brand, expanded access for underrepresented students, and driven the most successful fundraising campaign in Susquehanna’s history.

Provost: Leading Academic Vision
Dave Ramsaran joined Susquehanna in 2000 as a sociology faculty member. In 2019, he was named provost and dean of the faculty. Ramsaran oversees academic and athletic programs, faculty development and the overall pursuit of creative, scholarly and research excellence.
The provost’s priorities include advancing academic innovation, fostering deeper intellectual and global engagement, and championing student retention and inclusive excellence.
