Events & Traditions

You were a student for four years, but you’re a River Hawk for life. Join us and continue Susquehanna’s ongoing traditions.

Whether it’s reconnecting with classmates during Homecoming–Reunion Weekend, welcoming the holiday season during Candlelight Service or supporting current students during the university’s annual day of giving, these annual events provide wonderful opportunities to stay engaged with Susquehanna University.

Susquehanna Events

Annual Events & Traditions

Family Weekend

Join us for Susquehanna University’s annual Family Weekend. We will celebrate our Susquehanna families, friends and supporters with a weekend of athletic competition, art exhibitions in the Lore Degenstein Gallery, special programming and fun, family friendly activities.

Homecoming-Reunion

Candlelight Service

One of Susquehanna University’s most cherished traditions, Christmas Candlelight Service is held in Weber Chapel Auditorium.

OneSU

Our annual day of giving, when the entire Susquehanna community comes together to support the student experience.

Women’s Leadership Initiative

The initiative supports a robust, four-year preparation plan for every female student — nearly 1,300 — that includes career treks to major cities and job-shadowing experiences that connect them with Susquehanna alumni.
